The card does nothing at a non-Aspen dentist. Leave the chain, move away from a participating office, or need a specialist Aspen does not offer, and the membership has no leftover value. Use it when you want to keep your own dentist, need specialists, or cannot rely on a nearby Aspen office. Confirm the dentist participates before you enroll.
Aspen lists a percentage off its own office fee, which it does not publish. Careington publishes a maximum member fee at a participating general dentist. So the Aspen column shows Aspen's rule and the Careington column shows a dollar cap. To compare, ask the Aspen office for its regular fee on the same code and apply the discount.
